I as a Fan

Since I was a little girl my mother showed me movies, especially musicals. This is how I began to meet The Beatles. Like all people I had heard many of their songs, but didn't give them importance.
But when I saw the movies I started to listening the soundtrack, I loved, and so I discovered the songs of The Beatles and I started getting interested in them.

Many young people, now, think that their songs are "soft " and "cheesy", but I find them full of positive feelings (or not) and with a beautiful lyrics. When you start to listen to all their songs, not just the "hits" or the most popular songs, you realize that there is a Beatles song for every day of your life and every feeling. And that, to me, makes them my favorite band.

I must also say that I feel very identified with their personality; "hippy" and pacifist,  that they had, and I love listen their songs about free love, a Igualt for all ... but also
their songs show us the fear of making mistakes, to face the love, of losing what we love ...

I love The Beatles so much!

Objects

I, as a fan of The Beatles, for long time ago I been listening to all their songs and I've seen all their movies.

But I've also been collecting some diferent objects related to The Beatles. The objects that I have of The Beatles aren't very extraordinary things, but I like it a lot.

Now I have: a poster of Abbey Road, Abbey Road t-shirt, pair of earrings, a bag of abbey road, two cups, two Beatles films and the film Across the Universe and some of their CDs and LPS.

I already know that almost everything I have is related  to the image of Abbey Road, and this image is very commercial. But I don't try to find the relics of The Beatles, I agree with anything related to them.

Across The Universe

Across the Universe is a musical that was made in 2007. The reason I write about this film is that all the songs that are sung and interpreted in the movie are covers of songs by the Beatles.
The storyline is very beautiful, and shows us the America of the 60/70 and the fear of young people to war. The
protagonist, Jude, a young man of Liverpool (like all members of The Beatles) travels to America to find his father, there he finds new friends and girlfriend, the reason to stay and live there.
In the film, directed by Julie Taymor, you can listen 32 songs by The Beatles. These are:

· Girl
· Hold Me Tight
· All My Loving
· I Want To Hold Your Hand
· With a Little Help from My Friends
· It Won't Be Long
· I've Just Seen a Face
· Let It Be
· Come Together
· Why Don't We Do It in the Road?
